Owls in the Family

Owls in the Family is a book written by Farley Mowat in 1961.
A story about two Great horned owls being found by Billy, Bruce and Murray in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The owls become part of a larger pet collection. The humorous story centers around Wol, and Weeps. Wol being the bigger bird, Weeps the smaller bird. Weeps was found in a barrel filled with oil and kids were throwing stones at him. Billy traded his pocket knife for the owl. Weeps is unable to fly, and both of them get into trouble with human society. The story mostly focuses upon Wol and Weeps. Billy`s name is only spoken twice in the story.
