Owen Thomas is a presenter on the ITV London News, on ITV London, and regularly anchors the ITV Morning News. He is also a regular Newsreader on the BBC World Service, and presents the World Briefing programme on that station.
He used to present on the ITV News Channel before it closed down in December 2005. Faye Barker and Owen covered the last hour of the news channel.
Since joining ITN in 2001, he has broken some of the biggest national and international news. For years, he helped wake up the nation on BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat.
Owen's family are Welsh, he grew up in Nottingham but now lives in North London.
