Owen Kline

Owen Joseph Kline (born October 14, 1991) is an American actor.

Kline was born in New York City, New York to actors Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates; he has a younger sister, Greta Kline. Owen is best known for his leading role in the 2005 film The Squid and the Whale; a part given to him at the suggestion of family friend Jennifer Jason Leigh, director Noah Baumbach's then-girlfriend, now-wife.

He also starred in The Anniversary Party at the age of just 8 or 9 alongside his sister Greta and his parents, and one of his hobbies includes writing graphic novels. He can also play Bob Dylan songs on the ukelele, enjoys the musical stylings of Jeffrey Lewis, and spent some time at NYFA.
