[edit] Images
Hello. Welcome again! I just wanted to give you a heads up on the images you are uploading. It seems you are using a fair use tag. The fair use rationale is a complicated thing. But a good ground rule is that if you can make the same or similar image yourself or find it in a free source you can not use the fair use rationale. In any case you have to state on the image page where you found it or if you made it yourself. Otherwise the images will be deleted fairly soon and your work will be wasted. If you need any help please ask me. Inge 10:10, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- You are now using a tag guaranteeing the images will be delted in a week...Inge 10:25, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

- I noticed your images are being deleted. They were very nice so I hoped we could have kept them. If you have taken them yourself or know that they are not owned by anyone maybe you could upload them under the appropriate license. If you don't know which one to choose maybe I can help?Inge 11:21, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Ferkingfarm.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ferkingfarm.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:59, 16 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Valentinian (talk) / (contribs) 12:59, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
It is not enough that a copyright symbol is not used in the leaflet. We need to know the name of the leaflet, who published it and when, and who made the original image and when. If the drawing is more than 100 years old, there will normally not be any copyrights. If it is younger than this, it will very likely still be copyrighted. Regards. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Håkonshallen.JPG
Thank you for uploading Image:Håkonshallen.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:Håkonshallen.JPG, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 13:33, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
