Talk:Overture Center
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Looks like there is more than one of them. This edit replaced a stub about the Overture Center in Chicago with another stub for the Overture Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Not sure whether either is notable. Rl 08:18, 19 August 2005 (UTC)
I was the one who made the edit in question. I'm pretty sure the mention of Chicago was an error. Chief-O 06:55, 09 May 2006
from lowfatsourcreme: I'd recommend renaming this article to "Overture Center for the Arts" as that's its official name.
[edit] Venue Descriptions
If someone with more time on their hands wants to put in some of the venue information, especially relating to the galleries, that would be wonderful; the Overture Center web page has some good info to start . . . --Lowfatsourcreme 12:52, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Add Redirect from MMoCA??
I noticed the [art ] and [architecture] sections in the Madison article contain links to a [currently non-existant] article on the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Considering that this article contains a section on MMoCA, I would think that Madison Museum of Contemporary Art should redirect to the Overture article. --Chief-O, 09:14, 3 June 2006
- Done. Creating non-existent redirects that do not and most likely will not overlap in name with any other topic needn't be discussed first. Remember, edit boldly! Cheers. --Hraefen 16:10, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Date of Opening
Can someone supply the date(s) when the Overture Center - or parts of it - opened?
