Over the Brooklyn Bridge (1984) is a comedy film directed by Menahem Golan.

Alby is a man of Jewish confession with ambition: for the moment, he holds a coffee in Brooklyn, but he dreams to be able to open his restaurant in Manhattan, project which is very expensive. He asks his Uncle Benjamin to lend him the money. Curiously, this one is not against this idea, but he imposes an odious blackmail to him: Alby will have the money if he leaves his catholic girl friend to marry a charming Jewish girl.
