Talk:Outboard Marine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the early 1960's, Outboard Marine Corperation manufactured an engine for use in Cushman motor scooters. It was an aluminum, single-cylinder, overhead valve engine that produced nine horsepower. Cushman used it only in their Eagle models, which had a two speed transmission. It was said to drive the Eagle at speeds of around 60 miles per hour. A two cylinder version was also produced for Cushman's three- and four-wheeled industrial vehicles.
