Outokumpu, Finland

Outokumpu is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the North Karelia region. The municipality has a population of 7,801 (2005) and covers an area of 584.37 km² of which 139.31 km² is water.
The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The steel manufacturer Outokumpu origins from the city of Outokumpu.
