"Out Of Time" is a song by the British rock band The Rolling Stones. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards for british singer Chris Farlowe, which was produced by Jagger himself. It hit No. 1 on the British Pop Charts in 1966. It is distinctively known for its three different versions. The first version appeared on the UK version of 1966's Aftermath. The song was 5:37 long. Then it appeared in the US on 1967's Flowers. It was the same as the Aftermath version only it was cut down to 3:42 seconds. It then appeared on the 1975 compilation album Metamorphosis. This version was much different, it was backed with strings and featured richer backing vocals. This version was the only version released as a single, although it had no chart position.

The song was also covered by the Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers (appearing on their B-sides and covers album Lipstick Traces) as well as by The Ramones on Acid Eaters.
