"Out Ta Get Me" is a song by American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. Its lyrics focus on lead singer Axl Rose's constant trouble with the law as a youth in Indiana.
"Out Ta Get Me" was aimed at the police as Guns N' Roses were frequently stopped by them.
Rumor has it that Slash fell ill the day before the recording session, and all of his parts were temporarily recorded by a studio guitarist. When it came time for the overdubbing, the band decided to keep the original substitutes. Slash can only be heard during the bridge, playing a guitar harmony over the studio musician.
