[edit] Ouiski Chitto

Located in Allen, Beauregard, Rapides, and Vernon Parishes, the Ouiski Chitto creek is a landmark and common vacation spot for many locals to the region. It is a tributary to the Calcasieu River. It is located between Mittie and Reeves, Louisiana. It is often spelled "Whiskey Chita," but the name was given by a native American tribe and later adopted by settlers.
