OU Center for Public Management

The University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management (CPM) was established in 1994 on the Norman, Oklahoma campus as part of the OU College of Continuing Education's Public and Community Services Division. Using federally approved cost sharing principles and cost reimbursable accounting practices, CPM does business with public and private sector entities. CPM draws on the resources of the University staff and faculty to deliver customer oriented solutions, for which it has received numerous awards.

Currently, the Center for Public Management employees approximately 160 staff and services about $20,000,000 in contracts per year. These services range from training and professional development in the classroom to online learning. CPM delivered about 28,000 sessions of online learning in FY 05. CPM also provides research and analysis of public programs, demographics and technology. CPM provides strategic planning, workforce development and enterprise services.
