Otter Press

Otter Press is an Australian publishing group whose major releases is the American Simpsons Comics series. They began publishing in 1998 with Simpsons Comics #32, and today they have published hundreds of different Simpsons books, spanning over ten series. They have also published various anime, movie, and other graphic novels.
The comics were originally printed bi-monthly, but after popular demand they began releasing the first issues every month the "new" edition wasn't available, starting with #36 (eg: #36 one month, Simpsons Comics and Stories #1 the next, #37 the next, #1 the next, #38 the next, #2 the next, etc). When the US comics began going monthly with #51, Otter Press stopped the printing of the older issues, ending with #14. The remaining issues (#15 to #31) were released to the Australian public between 1999 and 2001 in four American trade paperback editions.
The Bart Simpson comics series, for the first 19 issues, was padded out to 64 pages with a free Radioactive Man issue inside. Starting with #20, they were out of RM stories, and had to find another way to get to 64 pages. Their solution was simple but controversial: #20 and #21 were combined in the same issue. This means #22 will come with #23, #24 will come with #25, etc.

Every three months, Otter Press re-releases the Simpsons trade paperbacks.
In 2004, they got up to printing Simpsons Comics A Go-Go, but instead of carrying onto Simpsons Comics Unchained, they went back through printing the entire first 8 again. So far the latest one is Simpsons Comics Simps-o-rama.
