Othmar Zeidler

Othmar Zeidler (died 26 June 1911) was a German Austrian chemist.

As a doctoral student at University of Strasbourg, Zeidler is credited with first synthesis of insecticide Dichloro Diphenyl Trichloroethane or DDT in 1874.
