Other ships of BC Ferries (not classed)

A number of ships operated by BC Ferries are not classed. They are either purchased second hand from other operators or are customized vessels with no class assigned by the builders.

• M/V Howe Sound Queen (similar to Powell River class ferry)
• M/V Nimpkish - 1973
• M/V Mill Bay - 1956 (along with M/V Island Princess from Coast Ferries)
• M/V North Island Princess - 1958
• M/V Quadra Queen II - 1969
• M/V Queen of Prince Rupert
• M/V Queen of Chilliwack
• M/V Northern Adventure
• M/V Northern Expedition

The Queen of Chilliwack and Northern Adventure are the only operating ferries built outside of Canada. These vessels were built in Norway and Greece, in 1991 and 2006.
