I've done a lot of editing just from ip's and finally after a couple years I finally started an account to keep track via watchlist. Anyway, talk here if you don't like something I edited!

[edit] just so you know

It is not considered appropriate to blank your user talk page. But hey, do as you like. Peace. Kukini

Sorry kukini, I havent had anyone talk yet (nor have i elsewhere) so not up on etiquette. Apologies. otduff (talk/contribs)

[edit] Redirect from misspellings...

I noticed you changed a link to C++Builder on Borland Delphi. Good effort, but the way you did so was more harmful than good. The RFM template is not just a redirection template, but valuable metadata that any article linking to the redirection has a spelling error. By removing the redirect but not fixing the spelling error, you're leaving the spelling error in where it counts but removing the metadata that the link is spelled incorrectly. For instance, you changed ((C++Builder)) to ((C++ Builder|C++Builder)). The result is that in the article text is still spelled C++Builder, which is incorrect, but the metadata that the spelling is incorrect has been lost. Please don't remove RFM redirects in this manner; make sure to update to ((C++ Builder)) in the future. Thanks! -- Steven Fisher 06:06, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Hmm. I see you're fixing the others the right way. I guess either you messed up just that one, or you weren't really sure of C++ Builder's spelling. Good work. -- Steven Fisher 06:10, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
I named C++ Builder shorthand in that one article because that is the way J++ Builder, etc were spelled in that particular article section. --otduff (talk/contribs)

[edit] Entourage

I wanted to thank you for your contributions to the Entourage related articles and I wanted to let you know that there is currently a proposal to form an Entourage related WikiProject. If you would be interested in joining such an endeavor please add your name to the proposal and the temporary project page.  Argash  |  talk  |  contribs  04:17, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rocky

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Rocky_Marciano&diff=84761896&oldid=84760741 This was most correct version, this idiot today reverted everything under umbrella of POV, which is not, go there and see what can be done to be reverted to this version. Everything has been deleted, the bio looks pathetic now, also, do you know any good sports administrators, so we can return to correct version? Today Nov 1st the page has been terribly vandalized. They do not know any history.

[edit] You should learn to cut the crap

You've said some things which merit a LOT of banning today. Drennleberrn 03:26, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Like what? Perhaps you should spend your time making contributions instead of worrying about me. I have made hundreds of contributions with this account (and thousands via ip before that) and been a helpful member of wikipedia for years. I have yet to see anything useful contributed by you and you have been a member for less than a week. Maybe you should have more experience here before doing some of the edits you are doing as I am not the only one who disagrees with you. In case you delete them again, I am talking about your requests for deletions (Louina, Prothro, etc) and user bans - all of which nobody agrees with. Again, welcome to wikipedia. otduff (talk/contribs) 03:40, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Oh, I have been a Wikipedian a LOT longer than you...Drennleberrn 04:14, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Advocacy

I've agreed to be your advocate regarding the uncivil behavior you've experienced. Please let me know how you would prefer to be contacted regarding the case either here (I'm watching your talk page) or on my talk page/desk. After we've agreed on a course of action, I'm confident this matter will be wrapped up in no time. Regards, Bobby 22:20, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

The above gem has since stopped being a nuisance so I let it drop. I saw where the request was closed which is why I never responded. Will let you know if I have more problems. Thanks again. otduff (talk/contribs) 18:40, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Samuel Johnson Page Move Proposal

You gave an early opinion that helped decide the Robert Johnson move proposal. I am continuing work on the Johnsons. I would appreciate your opinion on the following: Samuel JohnsonDr. Samuel Johnson —(Discuss) Since the Feb 2006 page move, 6 new entries have been added to the Samuel Johnson (disambiguation) page including Sam Houston Johnson, a Presidential sibling, Samuel Ealy Johnson, Jr., a Presidential father, Samuel Ealy Johnson, Sr., a Presidential grandfather, Samuel Johnson (footballer), an active footballer, and Samuel Curtis Johnson, Sr. the patriarch of the richest family in Wisconsin. The primacy of Dr. Samuel Johnson versus the remaining field of Samuel Johnsons should be reconsidered. This move would enable replacement of the dab page at Samuel Johnson TonyTheTiger 22:22, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] College Football

Hello, I noticed that you have edited a College football related article. You may be interested to know that there is a college football WikiProject which you can join if you like. We would love to have you! --Tlmclain | Talk 14:21, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dreamcast info

On March 2nd, 2006 I noticed you changed the US team's console design from "SH4" to "PowerPC 603e". Please don't do this. I was one of the members of the Dural Team, and I supplied the original information, and it is correct. So please don't change it. Thanks. I have reverted this change.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tm314159 (talk • contribs) 19:18, 11 January 2007 (UTC).

Well, despite your unreferenced expert opinion, if I did make that change (wrote that article nearly a year ago so it is difficult to keep track) it is because this page on dreamcast's history says so. I will again revert your change until you provide a source to verify your claims. Again, I do not doubt what you say, but we need outside sources. otduff (talk/contribs) 20:10, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
