Otago Girls' High School is a secondary school in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. It was opened in 1871, after a long campaign by educationalist Learmonth White Dalrymple. It is said to be the oldest girls' high school in the southern hemisphere, although St Mary's College in Wellington also claims that title.
Noteworthy alumnae include Ethel Benjamin, New Zealand's first female lawyer.[1]
