Osprey class sloop

The Osprey class was a Royal Navy class of screw sloops. 14 ships of the class were built. The class was given upgrades in 1880 and became known as the Doterel class. Originally 1,130 tons displacement with 950 hp, it was upgraded to 1,040 tons displacement and 1,010 hp. They were capable of approximately 11 knots and were armed with 6 guns.
