Oshanosaurus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Oshanosaurus" (meaning "Oshan lizard") is the informal name given to an as yet undescribed genus of dinosaur from the Early Jurassic. It was a herbivorous dinosaur, variously identified as an ornithischian or a sauropod, which lived in what is now China. The type species, "Oshanosaurus youngi", was coined by Zhao in 1985, but has never been formally described. "Oshanosaurus" may have been around 12 meters (4 feet) long, and lived around 190 million years ago. Its fossils were found in the Yunnan Province of southwestern China.
