OSD is a three-letter acronym that may stand for:

  • Åre Östersund Airport (OSD is the IATA airport code), in Sweden
  • Office of the Secretary of Defense, the principal staff element of the U.S. Secretary of Defense
  • On-screen display, a feature of visual devices like VCRs and DVD players that displays program, position, and setting data on a connected TV or computer display
  • Open Source Debate, a movement which encompasses various proposals for increasing the availability of policy debate evidence
  • Open Source Definition, criteria used by the Open Source Initiative to determine whether or not a software license can be considered open source
  • Open Software Description, an XML interchange format used for describing software packages and their dependencies
  • Oklahoma School for the Deaf, a K-12 residential school for the deaf or hard-hearing students
  • Object storage device
  • Office for Students with Disabilities, a service centre found at many universities mandated to provide students with an array of disability support services and assistive technologies.
  • Open Space Development, a form of housing development much like a PUD, where lots sizes are small, houses are close together, but the tradeoff is that more open space is set aside for parks, walkways, etc.
