I'm starting a new Wikipedia society that will focus on removing blatant FanCruft (ie. PokeCruft, VideoGameCruft, etc). While it is understood that certain amount of information is needed for these topics. Coverage and number of articles for these topics is starting to exceed much more important real world events. As I mentioned on a VFD discussion: There are probably more articles directly relating to Pokemon than there are for World War I. The complete objectives of this society as well as awards for going "above and beyond" in the reduction of FanCruft will be located here: Wikipedia Society of Cruft Reduction
