Oscillons from the Anti-Sun is a three-CD, 1-DVD box-set collection of Stereolab tracks culled from the group's singles. The group's commercially released singles all feature a lead track (usually taken from an album) as well as three non-album B-sides. For good measure, the box also includes a couple of rare mixes and the album track "The Noise of Carpet", which was released as a single in the US. The DVD features promo videos and TV appearances. This compilation was released on April 25, 2005. The tracks are not presented in chronological order. The first pressing contained stickers of the covers of the relevant singles and EPs with the discs housed in printed card sleeves. Later pressings come with the discs in 2 double jewel cases enclosed in a slipcase.
