Oscar Garré

Oscar Garré (born December 9, 1956) is a former Argentine football defender.
He played most of his career as a defender for Ferro Carril Oeste, he was part of the team that won the Nacional championships of 1982 and 1984. The campeign of 1982 saw Ferro go the whole championship without losing a single game.
Garré played for the Argentina, he was part of the squad that won the 1986 World Cup.
In 1994 he went to Israel, where he played for Hapoel Kfar Saba and Hapoel Be'er Sheva F.C. in the local football league. In 1988 he returned to Argentina and played with Club Atlético Huracán until his retirement in 1989.
After retirement, he has coached such teams as Lanús, Chile's Universidad Católica, and Huachipato. Since August 2006, he has worked as the coach of his former club Ferro Carril Oeste.
