Oscar Forman born 16 January 1982 in Adelaide, Australia is a basketball player who currently plays for the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian National Basketball League. Forman played for the Adelaide 36ers from 2001 until 2006, winning a championship in 2002, before moving to the Breakers at the end of the 2005-2006 season. While starting his career playing primarily the power forward/centre position, he has since been used more often in a small forward role as a specialist three-point shooter.
Oscar Forman played as a junior for the Sturt Sabres and represented the Sabres in the Central Australian Basketball League. He has won a championship with them in the 2004 season and won a Woollacott Medal in 2005. Other honours include being chosen as a member of the Australian team that competed at the 2003 World University Summer Games in Korea, and was also chosen for the Commonwealth Games in 2006, but did not get chosen in the final team. He also led the NBL in three-point shooting % in the 2004-05 season, with an average of 47%.
