Oscar Doucet is a politician in the province of New Brunswick, Canada.

In his youth in the late 1960s, Doucet was an active member of local protesters in Northumberland County and Kent County that protested the expropriation of land to create Kouchibouguac National Park. He directly confronted the federal minister responsible for parks over the issue. The minister in question was Jean Chrétien who would go on to serve as Prime Minister of Canada.

A New Democrat, he ran for the legislature in the riding of Rogersville-Kouchibouguac in the 2003 election, was runner-up at the 2005 NDP leadership convention and was again a candidate in Rogersville-Kouchibouguac in 2006.
