[edit] hey

I dont know what the hell you did, but be careful. we are here for the truth, not your opinions or ours. we must maintain a level of neutrality or it may be our downfall. maybe you are not as mature at this time. I wish I can teach you so many things about history and politics. you can email me anytime at edwardkim118@hotmail.com. Have you ever heard of conspicuous consumption? We Koreans are full of it. i wish that we would not be like our parents when we grow up. Odst 23:59, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your greeting

Hi Orthodoxy. Thanks for your greeting. It's true that I can speak some Korean, and I have helped translate some articles from the Korean Wikipedia and gathered info from other sources. Your knowledge of several languages can be very useful, and I hope you'll work on adding lots of good information about Korean history, geography, and culture. --Reuben 01:00, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

I am confused. Odst 01:12, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No worries

Hi Orthodoxy, I don't think the page really hurt anything; it was just a user page, not an article page. Anyway it should be deleted. It's definitely a good idea to keep other people from using your account. If you haven't already, you should change all the passwords and make sure to log out from Wikipedia when you leave the computer. --Reuben 01:15, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

I think removing the content is good enough. It's only a user page, and the user is not editing any more. If you want to really delete it, that's harder; I'm not sure how it works for a user page. --Reuben 01:31, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Ok, then thanks again for your greeting and happy editing! --Reuben 18:57, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Useful tools

Hi Orthodoxy, I'm not a secret admin - you can do the same thing too. When you look at a user's page or talk page, click on "User contributions" over to the left, under the search bar. For instance, you can see my contributions here: Special:Contributions/Reuben. When I read your note on my talk page, I was just curious about what kind of edits you had been making in Dokdo and other Korea-related articles, so I looked at Special:Contributions/Orthodoxy. I'm still a little confused, though, whether the note on my talk was from you, or somebody else, since you deleted it. --Reuben 22:32, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bonjour

Bonjour monsieur Woo. Je suis un nationalist libre de coree. I just met you on the WP:Korea page, so I just wanted to say hello to you. We have a weird concidence in similarities. I can speak Korean and French also, and etc. Since you can speak numerous languages, would you like to join the AIW (Association of International Wikipedians)? My goal as an IW (International Wikipedian) is to make all versions of Wikipedia contain the same articles, therefore sharing the knowledge not just with one's country, but the entire world. Although it will take a lot of time and effort to make all Wikipedias "same" and global, if many people contribute, it will come true. The only thing that I do not like about Wikipedia is that each versions of Wikipedia is "seperated" and not united as one. Would you like to help create Wikipedia a global Wikipedia? If you have any thoughts in beocomming an IW, please contact me on my talk page. I have an account on the French version of Wikipedia, known as Orthodoxi, and I also have accounts on sevral other versions of Wikipedia. Merci. Orthodoxy 22:40, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Translation rules

quote: I think some of the rules in the translation guide are unfair. What if another Wikipedian comes across an unrevised article, and decides to make it more fluent?

Hello Orthodoxy, I didn't write the translation page, I have just been editing it to make it easier to read. I haven't added anything or written any rules. If you have a problem with one of the rules on that page, why don't you edit it, or maybe make a comment on its talk page? Which rules do you disagree with, anyway?

그는 이제 infantile idea(유치하기 까지 합니다.)

(Korea history 13:48, 19 March 2007 (UTC))

(Korea history 14:01, 19 March 2007 (UTC))
잘 숙고해 주시고, 저의 활동 기록 중 (Yeon Gaesomun, Battle of Salsu(Talk 포함), Most lethal battles in world history(Talk 포함)) 이것 좀 도와주세요.(이건 일단 저나 님이나 시간이 나는대로 하는게 어떨까요? (Korea history 14:22, 19 March 2007 (UTC))
(Book of Tang, New Book of Tang)만을 정확한 증거로 내세우며, 우리역사를 축소 시키고 있습니다.

(Korea history 10:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Thanks

Hey, thanks for creating AINW. I didn't really like the fact that Korean Wikipedia is not as developed as a English Wiki. I created an account there with the same user name. Also, did you receive my logo? (Wikimachine 16:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)) Here.

Hey thanks so much for your compliments! I'm so happy that you're happy about it! Change as much as you'd like to w/ that logo. Oh, I didn't set out to put the Japanese for the AINW letters. I used Korean alphabets as the 1st layer of the logo. It looked really cool. But at the same time, I knew that since the founder of the AINW & the designer of the logo are both Koreans, putting Korean alphabets visible would be seen as a systemic bias. Therefore, I just decided to put other alphabets over the Korean alphabets. And, with this method I used of typing the "AINW" in white in some 900 font Times New Roman over each layer & then pasting that modified layer over the previous one, I just ended up with Japanese. I'm really sorry if that disturbs you. (Wikimachine 00:10, 20 March 2007 (UTC))
Hey I fixed it so that it is legible under all resolutions. (except 5 x 3 pixels). Darkening it didn't help, only making the entire pic like a box --> the software for Windows that minimizes pics leaves out all the irregularities.
Love Hina? I thought that that anime sucked. Its story line could be interesting, but I just hate the voices & the feminine characters. They are all gay. That little black-haired girl acts too much like angels... disgusting. And that boy is always thinking about private parts. How come you like it? (no insult :) ) So I ended up not finishing it. Ah, when you mean by "research", you want to watch all of the episodes?
We could have a fun time talking about anime... My favorites (in no order):
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion
  • Full Metal Panic
  • Fruits Basket
  • Gundam Seed (I hate the Destiny, original was best)
  • Eureka seveN
  • Hoshi no koe
  • Futakoi Alternative
  • 5cm per second
  • A place promised in the early days

(Wikimachine 01:58, 20 March 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Hey!

Hey, I'm really sorry that AINW was deleted. I don't like Negima either (at least the anime b/c the feminine characters there are all gays). Well, I don't understand the admins. Why, if AINW was poorly constructed, it can be improved. And it had ... what, 3 members? (Wikimachine 18:05, 27 March 2007 (UTC))
