Orthomerus dolloi Seeley, 1883 |
Orthomerus (meaning "straight femur") is the name given to a genus of dinosaur from the Cretaceous. It was a hadrosaur which lived in Europe. The shaft of the femur is remarkably straight and strong. The type species, Orthomerus dolloi, was described by Seeley in 1883. A second species, O. weberae, was first described by Riabinin in 1945. O. transsylvanicus has since been reclassified as a species of Telmatosaurus.
