Orquesta del Desierto is an American desert rock band from the Palm Desert, California. Members of the band include vocalist Pete Stahl (Goatsnake, Wool), drummer Alfredo Hernández (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Che) and guitarist Mario Lalli (Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man). The band released two albums; an eponymous debut in 2002 and a follow up in 2004, appropriately titled "Dos".
The band is currently on hiatus as members pursue other projects.[1]
