The Richmond Birdwing Ornithoptera richmondia is a birdwing species endemic to Australia. It is the smallest of the birdwing species.
The range is from Maryborough in south-east Queensland to the Clarence River area in north-east New South Wales. It is common in rainforests in New South Wales, mostly National Parks: Mt Warning National Park, Border Range National Park, Nightcap National Park (all New South Wales) and in Lamington National Park (Queensland), but scarce in the north of its range.
