Ornithodesmus was a small, coelurosaurian dinosaur that lived in Europe 130 million years ago. This genus was once believed to be pterosaurian, this has been determined not to be the case. All pterosaurian material previously assigned to this genus now belongs to the genus Istiodactylus.
