[edit] Dreamworks contract
Self recorded the album under their contract with DreamWorks Records. The masters are now owned by Universal, who purchased the DreamWorks Records label. Universal is afraid to release the album, as they are afraid it will flop, but as for now, the album will remain unreleased unless another company buys the contract and masters.
[edit] Internet sharing
Ornament and Crime is a popular album circulated on p2p file sharing networks; however, you will not find any mention of the album on standard websites at Dreamworks' request. Demos recorded during the sessions for this album were released by the band as a downloadable album called Porno, Mint, and Grime.
