Orlando Breakers

The Orlando Breakers were a fictional expansion NFL team that hired Hayden Fox (played by Craig T. Nelson) in the later episodes of the popular ABC sitcom Coach.
The team was used merely to bring in new characters, such as Doris Sherman (played by Katherine Helmond of Who's the Boss? and Soap fame) as well as bringing in new storyline opportunities (most involving Hayden and Christine's new baby and coaching in the NFL). The new environment did not seem to work too well, however, as Coach ended in 1997, just two years after the team was introduced.
