N2K are a bad that was started by Jaune Records that had seen them perform many of times. Noelle with the lead vocals met Kaili at her drama class where they quit and moved on the singing lessons and dancing classes. While at dancing lessons they met Monah Lê a half Vietnamese and half Japanese girl who could sing and dance. The name of the band: N2K was named as all three has been accepted into the N2K Dancing College, which they rejected for fame. Their first song was recorded in November 2006. The song premiered on The Box on: February 16, 2007. The single is called: Sound Crazy. It shall be released on March 5, 2007 (March 7 in the Tandeeshea Isles). Their debut album was confirmed to be called: N2K and it was confirmed that the release date for the UK shall be: April 2, 2007. On 15 March 2007 N2K confirmed the second single from the album to be a video was: Red Cherry Lips The single is to be released in either May or June.

On 4 March 2007, many artists suggested that the music was copied from a Polish girl-group. Jaune Records was thought to have plaigerised certain material from the Polish girl-group for N2K. N2K Band member: Kaili Morrison said:

I'd just like to comment on how the media influences people's decisions. Sound Crazy is a song that I and the rest of N2K wrote with some producers. This Polish girl-group have been contacted and they've replied with the song not even sounding like anything on their particular album. I have to say, that being a new band created really only a couple of months ago, I don't want many controversies. I can safely say that Sound Crazy and other tracks on our debut album are original and made purely by ourselves.

The polish girl-group contacted the Media with a response of: "The newspapers are clearly wrong, all they want is to get little girls and try and make their career over. N2K have good material and I shall personally buy their album."

On the 18 March 2007 Jaune Records made a statement about N2K saying: "N2K had signed with us in January of 2007. However, these girls are amazing but we much despise them. Jaune Records are concentrating more on Silva Lining than N2K. After the album is released and the 5-6 singles of the album released, Jaune Records shall drop N2K where they will have to look for another record company if they want to carry on being singers."
