Orishas (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Orishas is a popular Cuban hip hop group. Yotuel and Ruzzo, two Cubans who moved from Havana to Paris as part of a school exchange program, joined Roldan and Flaco-Profrom, two rappers, to form the band in 1999. Their most popular songs include "A Lo Cubano" and "537 CUBA", which features the same famous background music as "Chan Chan"[1] by Compay Segundo.
The album El Kilo was chosen as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005 (#81).
