[edit] One Category for all the Organic was of growing food articles
We have, Organic gardening, Organic farming and Organic horticulture, and categories: Category:Organic gardening and Category:Organic farming. Could we just have only have category that involves them all? I think the keyword is agriculture, which by definition is "Agriculture (a term which encompasses farming) is the process of producing food, feed, fiber and other goods by the systematic raising of plants and animals", let me know what you think and i'll do the dirty work of moving all the articles to the new category. --Cacuija (my talk) 18:44, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Agricultural and Horticultural Distinctions
I would recommend keeping Agricultural and Horticultural distinctions. Generally an agricultural operation will work at or above the law of diminishing returns while horticultural ‘practices’ will be below the law of diminishing returns. It may well be beneficial to merge Organic Horticulture and Organic Gardening since they are generally small scale as opposed to big Agricultural farming. Many of the practices and much of the equipment is very different between agricultural, and gardening/horticulture.Meng.benjamin 19:58, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
