Order of precedence in Romania

The order of precedence in Romania is a symbolic hierarchy of officials in Romania used to direct protocol. It is written in Article 98 of the Romanian Constitution.
- Preşedintele (President of Romania), currently Traian Băsescu.
- Preşedintele Senatului (President of the Romanian Senate), currently Nicolae Văcăroiu.
- Preşedintele Camerei Deputaţilor (President of the Chamber of Deputies), currently Bogdan Olteanu.
The two presidents are seconded by their vice-presidents.
