Order of Saint Catherine

Order of St Catherine (Russian: Императорский Орден Святой Екатерины) was an award of Imperial Russia.
Instituted in November 24, 1714 by Peter the Great on the occasion of his marriage to Catherine I of Russia.
Awarded: To ladies.
Ribbon: red with silver edge stripes with the inscription:
"ZA LYUBOV' I OTECHESTVO" ("ЗА ЛЮБОВЬ И ОТЕЧЕСТВО" – "For the Love and the Fatherland").
Grades: 2 (Greater Cross and Lesser Cross).
