[edit] Orchis ustulata

This page has a featured article in the de: page (de:Brandknabenkraut) as well as articles in other editions, but doesn't appear in the list of species here. Does it have another name listed here, or is it missing? Rigadoun 16:20, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

According to the World Checklist of Monocots (Kew gardens) [1] Orchis ustulata L., Sp. Pl.: 941 (1753) is just a synonym. The accepted name is : Neotinea ustulata (L.) R.M.Bateman, Pridgeon & M.W.Chase, Lindleyana 12: 122 (1997). It is strange that this wasn't checked in the de.wikipedia. This checklist is authoritative. JoJan 16:51, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Second answer : It was recognized in the de.wikipedia that Neotinea ustulata is the more accepted name. In my opinion, they should have used this name instead the older synonym, even, as they claim, the acceptance of the new name is not complete (but they give no reference for this).
