[edit] Summary
Description |
Orc - Raster vs Vector comparison, created by me from Wikipedia:Image:Ogre.png and Image:Orc.svg. Illustrates the difference between a vector image and a raster image. The vector SVG was rasterised at 720 dpi using Illustrator CS2. The raster PNG was interpolated with Photoshop CS2's bicubic sharper from 72 dpi to 720 dpi. Then both were cropped to show roughly the same portion, the text was added to show which was which and it was saved as a PNG. No other modifications were made. This is a quick and dirty demonstration so may not be perfect.
