Oras Tynkkynen (Topi Oras Kalevi Tynkkynen, born 1977) is a Finnish environmental activist, member of the city council of Tampere, and the first openly gay member of the Parliament of Finland, representing the Green League. He has also held positions in numerous other organisations, such as Friends of the Earth Finland. Currently he is the youngest parliamentarian in Finland. Oras Tynkkynen became a member of Parliament in 2004 as a replacement when Satu Hassi left her seat upon her election to the European Parliament. He was elected to the parliament on his own right in 2007.

Tynkkynen was born in Jyväskylä, Finland. He is a student at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Tampere. In his free time he enjoys sports, reading, electronic music and travel.
