Orange España

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Orange España is a mobile network operator in Spain. It was previously known as Amena (pleasant in an amusing way in Spanish) until 2005, when it was bought by France Télécom. Its competitors are Movistar, Vodafone Spain and Yoigo.

Its legal headquarters are in Pozuelo de Alarcón, near Madrid.

Orange is not a Spanish word. In advertisements and announcements, Orange is pronounced ['oɾaŋʧ], an approximation to the English pronunciation.
