Talk:Or Commission
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- What incidents did the Commission report on? Like, was there a particular riot somewhere and sometime?
- Wouldn't the report be more important than the commission itself? And the name sounds odd, too. I think we should rename this article to something like report on Israeli treatment of Arab rioters -- shorter is usually better, but "Or Commission" looks like a typo for mining fees. --Uncle Ed 13:50, 2 Sep 2003 (UTC)
- What are you talking about? The Or commission is what it was called, if we called the article what you're suggesting it would be confused with various other commissions.
Anyways I edited the page to more accurately reflect the commisions's conclusion. For example, the Orr commission didn't have the power to actually bar the interior minister from re-election so I wrote they suggested he not be re-appointed.- Moshe Constantine Hassan Al-Silverburg 00:52, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
The last paragraph presented the commision's actions as a circumverntion of due process, this was only an opinion of few people, I have added "some commentators believe it to be" so it is not presented as solid fact.- Moshe Constantine Hassan Al-Silverburg 22:58, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
