Open Season is a video game based on the film of the same name. The Nintendo DS version supports the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection [1].

Boog, a 900-pound grizzly bear living in the tranquil town of Timberline and who is domesticated by park ranger Beth, met up with a scrawny, fast-talking mule deer named Elliot who is staped to the hood of a truck that belongs to Timberline's top hunter, Shaw. At the first sight, Elliot discovers that he is missing an antler and can't find a way to get free and persuades Boog to free him. After an argument with his hunter arch-rival, Beth gets in the truck to get going as Boog quickly frees Elliot and escapes before Shaw could get after him.
Only then, Boog never expects to see Elliot again.
Later that night, Boog watches telivision but is put to bed by Beth and falls into a big sleep. A minute or so later, Boog wakes up and finds Elliot getting in the garage that Boog sleeps in and returns the favor by freeing him like he frees Elliot. Soon, Boog is lured outside to have more chocolate candy bars and he follows Elliot to Timberline and there, the two animals broke in the town's food store and started a really big party as they wreck up the store but the party ends as Elliot runs out of the store, leaving Boog caught by police officer, Gordy.
Only soon, Boog is taken back home and gets to sleep to calm him down for his troubles. After going in Timberline's Nature Show as a career, Boog met up with Elliot again as he was discovered by Shaw and chases after him. Boog tries to get the mule deer out of the way as everyone watches as Boog attacks Elliot with Beth trying to stop the madness. Soon, Boog threantens to kill Elliot as Shaw found them out of the Nature Show building and prepares to shoot Boog but is shot by Beth with a tranquilizer and shoots Elliot as well. Gordy, who stayed after the audience ran off, prepares to arrest Shaw but he has ran off and only then, Beth is concerned that Boog deserves not to live in Timberline anymore and takes the grizzly and mule deer out to the Timberline National Forest. Only then Boog and Elliot had been lost in the woods for 3 days before hunting season begins and the two start an unlikely friendship where they team up with the other animals of the woods to ward off Shaw and Timberline's other hunters back to town. At Open Season, things will never be the same...
