Open Road was the debut solo album by the former lead-singer of the hugely successful and popular UK boy band Take That, Gary Barlow.

The album was a huge success on the UK Albums Chart reaching No.1 and producing six singles Forever Love, Love Won't Wait, So Help Me Girl, the title track Open Road, Are You Ready Now, Hang On In There Baby. Five of these singles were released in the UK, including three top ten singles and two top twenty singles.

Gary was the driving force behind the songs penship, single handedly penning six of the song tracks and also had a hand in co-writing two other songs on the album, one of which was with the legendary American songwriter Diane Warren.
Another American legend Madonna features on a writing credit for the album via the No.1 single "Love Won't Wait".
