Originally known as Korean Orthodox Presbyterian Church (KOPC), the church was founded by Pastor Cha (Pastor John Cha's father) in 1984. The church was later changed to Open Door Presbyterian Church (ODPC) and has quickly grown to become one of the largest churches in Virginia, currently supporting around 2,000 members.
