OpenPBX

OpenPBX, formed from "open" and "PBX" for private branch exchange is a name used for PBX software or PBX related software to indicate openness, either in form of open source licensing or in form of inter-operabillity with products of multiple vendors or both.
There are at least three software products or projects with "OpenPBX" in their name:
- OpenPBX by Voicetronix - a Perl based open source PBX software
- OpenPBX.org - a free software PBX forked from Asterisk to create a GPL distribution without vendor bias
- OpenPBX VXM - a Windows based voicemail software for use with conventional PBXes
