Open-AudIT can also audit Linux machines, and will partially Audit Mac OSX (R) based machines.
The current specification includes Auditing of Hardware and Software including license key information for OS and Office applications (and some others).
Links to Current Hardware Driver info and Warranty details from manufacturer's web sites to allow single click to check warranty status and driver availability are available for the major machine manufacturers, as are details of installed Anti-Virus, OS Service Packs and much more.
Open-AudIT also has the ability to NMAP your network using a VBS script or a Linux bash script. This will expose the details of all TCP/IP devices on your LAN.
Open-AudIT will also export reports to pdf and csv format.
Open-AudIT also allows Remote Desktop Management of Windows based machines (and other RDP clients), manage services, connect to $ shares and remote reboot are all available.
Open-AudIT also allows linking directly to ftp, http, https, vnc and telnet services on any machine with a single click.
