Oola

Oola (Irish: Púla [Pronounced "Poohla"], from the egg shaped hills/Drumlins) is a small town or village in County Limerick, Republic of Ireland, near Limerick in the midwest of Ireland. The main N24 road from Limerick to Waterford passes through the town and the town of Tipperary is also nearby on the same road. Though the town is no longer connected to the rail network, the important station at Limerick Junction is also nearby. Oola has approximately 500 inhabitants and forms part of the united parishes of Solohead & Oola in the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly.
