Onum Barr is a fictional character, part of Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series.

Onum Barr is a patrician of the empire, and a senator of Siwenna. He has six sons and a daughter. Five of the sons died by the actions of a viceroy. His daughter commits suicide. His sixth son, Ducem Barr enlists in the fleet as a gunner under an assumed name in order to exact revenge.

Whilst living quietly and in poverty in exile, he meets with Hober Mallow and directs Mallow to a tech-man. Mallow discovers from him the extent of the Empire's remaining atomic knowledge, which is very basic. In return, Mallow repays Barr with some provisions from his spaceship.

At this time, Siwenna is no longer the capital of the Normannic Sector; that position has been taken by Orsha II.
