Ontotext is a Bulgarian software company based in Sofia. It is the semantic technology branch of Sirma Group. Its main domain of activity is the development of software products and solutions based on the Semantic Web languages and standards, in particular OWL. Besides its own proprietary products, Ontotext has been co-developer of open source tools such as Sesame and GATE.
The company is involved in several research projects in the European Sixth Framework Program in the domain of Semantic Web Services.
